Returning To Work

Recovery is a strange term isn't it? We often talk about having recovered from an illness, accident or experience however I think we can sometime refer to recovering in the context of what others can see.
I am no expert at all in the human mind or any medical area for that matter however in my experience we can carry trauma with us for a very long time.

Ofcourse depending on the situation, I think we find ways to live with our trauma and we may appear fine in the eyes of others.

This may be true when returning to work after an illness and it may also be true with friends and family who aren't aware that you aren't yet fixed (as though you are an object that can be simply glued back together).

Our mind can be a very complex yet mysterious pain in the arse when it comes to healing but I think that maintaining a positive mindset and perservering remain the fundamental ways to overcome any challenge life that throws at us.
